Hon. Opeyemi Apatira came to public service from technology. In 2016 he founded ORISUN Systems and Technologies, building enterprise software for organisations that needed order, transparency and scale. Elected to the Ojodu LCDA Legislative Arm in 2021, he was chosen to lead it in 2022, and on 29 July 2025 the 6th Legislative Assembly elected him Leader of the Legislative House. LASIEC issued his certificate of return. He founded the ProPitch community sports brand and has run free digital-skills bootcamps for young people.

The 6th Legislative Assembly

Ojodu LCDA is governed by two arms. The Executive, led by Executive Chairman Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, runs council services and projects. The legislature — the Legislative House — is made up of six councillors, one from each ward, and Hon. Opeyemi Apatira leads it as Leader. The House checks the Executive's spending and makes the bye-laws the council runs on.
